Well, we're starting another new year and things are really busy here at Dewberry Ridge.  Gary has designed several new looms, I've been designing lots of new patterns to go with the looms and we have both been preparing for a wonderful year.  It takes a lot of planning to keep a small home-based business running.  Should be quick and easy--but it's not.  Everything takes time.

I have so many things to add to our website I can hardly wait to get them all done.  I have several new lines of  yarn this year in addition to my hand painted yarns.  There are new handwoven clothing designs--but you might have to wait a little while for the "unveiling".  They are pretty cool and there is something for everyone.

This year we are introducing classes on the small looms, so be sure to watch the website for dates.  I'm trying to work out how to have the class on-line so everyone can benefit--anyone know the secret???

For those of you in Missouri, I will be at the Marshfield Fiber Event on May 19 in Marshfield, MO and at the MOPACA Fiber U July 19, 2012.  They are both really great fiber events worth putting on your schedule.

I didn't exactly make New Year Resolutions, but I can say that I  plan to do a much better job of communicating with everyone.  Feel free to respond to this blog or just send me a note.  Don't forget I am on Facebook as Donna McFarland and as Dewberry Ridge.  I love to hear from all of you.   Have a great New Year and see ya soon!
